Dear Marvel,
I am a bit worried for you. I know you seem like a great guy but I think this whole Marvel Cinematic Universe thing is making you go over your head. You need to stop.
The masses who go see your movies will not automatically go read your comic books. It just never works. It has never worked in the history of movie-synergy.
This isn't a complain about your blatant attempt at copying movies for some desperate bid in getting new readers. Oh no.
This... is about your blatant attempt at copying DC comics.
You aren't going to make yourself look any better if you keep this up.
You need to stop creating confusing continuity with your blatant retcons', and need to stop using people who find continuity some hassle before they choose to ruin it even more ( cough Bendis why cough).
It's detrimental to your health. You need to stop completely revamping your characters into entirely different people. From the surprise abundance of Inhumans to the whole character change of the guardians of the galaxy. These sort of editorial changes are something people just won't bite.
You need to stop with your endless lets-turn-this-4-issue-story-into-a-12-issue-"mini"-that-lasts-half-a-year crossover to green-lantern-corp-getting-wiped-out-per-storyarc to annual-franchise-exclusive-crossover-that-ends-on-a-bitter-note to oh wait wait-- the last two are DC comics. You see what I am very poorly trying to say? You guys are being alike.
Granted the only different thing you are doing is not being edgy and dark enough to make it's reader barely care for your universe. To the point that an attempt to revitalize your universe with a diverse range of creative teams and character titles that everyone originally clamoured for was surprisingly not enough to save your declining sales. So I will give you credit there.
DCYou were too late Didio.
BUT if you keep this up you might just end up repeating the whole 90s with the only difference being that just like DC comics, you have a large awesome company backing you up for the fall.
Sure, you get the whole Movie-verse popularity helping you ride this out but honestly DC comics is just about to catch up with you guys. The buzz around their new BvS movie and SUICIDE SQUAD is very astounding. Hell there was even more talk about the second movie than the former to the point I am sure my father knew about the concept of suicide squad better than any comic-book movie we ever saw together. The movie-verse safety blanket will not last forever you guys.
Your synergy attempts and weird editorial choices are going to get tiring Marvel. Real soon real fast. You are going to get stale if you want to keep everything super static and similar with your soft relaunches after your endless crossovers.
I know you will bounce back from this mess and you always do, just like DC always does but unlike them you have a chance to fix this before you even enter it.
Please do.
sincerely,
Another entitled fan.

Not even sure if this is supposed to be satire or not. Reads a lot like satire.
